Fees and Refund Information

The Fees and Refund information has been formulated in line with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015: Inform and protect learners (Clause 5.3) and Clause 7.3 Protect Prepaid Fees by Learners. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that prospective learners, learners and staff are fully aware of the way in which participant fees and refunds are to be handled.
It is the policy of Child Care Services Training to have fair and reasonable financial dealings with learners and to protect fees paid in advance.
Child Care Services Training will publish all fees and incidental costs clearly on its website for all potential enrolling learners. This will include a specific breakdown of individual course fees for each course offered by Child Care Services Training. www.childcareservicestraining.com.au
A refund of 50% will apply if a learner withdraws for personal reasons within 14 days of enrolling. These reasons include sickness (verified by a medical certificate) or a change to their employment conditions (verified by the employer).
No refund will be given after commencement, from the date of the first unit/class start date. The date of withdrawal will be taken from the date that Child Care Services Training receives the Refund Application & any relevant supporting documentation.
CCST may accept payments of no more than $1000.00 in advance from individual learners prior to the commencement of the course. Following commencement of the course payments made in advance would not exceed $1,500.00 at any given time.
An invoice for payment is issued at the time of enrolment. Payment may be made by credit card, electronic funds transfer and/or direct debit arrangements. Formal acknowledgement of receipt of payment will be provided to the participant within 7 days of funds clearing.
Fee must be paid in Full 7 Days prior to Course Commencement.
All applications for Payment plan must be put in writing to be reviewed prior to Invoice due date. Once a payment plan agreement has been made, payment dates must be met. Missed payments will forfeit the payment plan agreement and all final outstanding monies will be payable immediately
Where a program is cancelled or Child Care Services Training ceases to deliver a course:
Reasonable notice of cancellation including an offer of transfer to another program within 8 weeks will be given to students. If Child Care Services Training cannot honour the transfer within the eight (8) week period and the student prefers, Child Care Services Training will refund full fees. If a course is not delivered, Child Care Services Training will refund all fees paid.
Changes to terms and conditions
Child Care Services Training uphold the right to make changes to our terms and conditions should the need arise. In the event of any proposed changes to our terms and conditions, Child Care Services Training will notify all students within 30 days of the proposed changes coming into effect.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of students to ensure that they meet the requirements of the policy.
It is the responsibility of Child Care Services Training staff to ensure that students are treated in a fair and reasonable manner in regards to their financial responsibilities.
It is the responsibility of the CEO to ensure that participant fees paid in advance are protected.Students who require more information about Child Care Services Training Fees and Refund policies or have specific questions about their fees can speak to the Administration Officer on 0421 691 253.
Your rights as a consumer
The Australian Consumer Laws, Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, is uniform legislation for consumer protection, under the a law of the Commonwealth of Australia and is incorporated into the Law of each of Australia’s states and territories. Child Care Services Training is committed to helping all students achieve their best possible outcomes. To underpin this Policy, Child Care Services Training will help students through a range of services that include:
Additional learning support (literacy/numeracy), Study skills and assignment preparation, Counselling (referral to appropriate agencies), Employment guidance/mentoring, Help with accessing high quality child care or Outside School Hours Care, Library services, Tea/coffee facilities.

Child Care Services Training is committed to meeting all requirements under the Occupational Health and Safety act in relation to our facilitators and students. All facilitators are responsible for providing a safe learning environment. Students also have a legal obligation to take care and protect their own wellbeing. If you have any concerns about your learning environment or your own safety; please contact your facilitator.

Child Care Services Training complies with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 Standard Three.
Child Care Services Training will only issue AQF qualifications and statement/s that are within the scope of registration and that confirmed that the learner has met the required competencies, standards and units specified within the accredited course: CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and CHC50113 Diploma of Early childhood education and care.
At the end of each year, each learner will be issued with a Record of Results outlining the units enrolled in and the result recorded for that academic year. When the learner has completed all necessary competencies within the Certificate III or Diploma, a qualification will be sent to the learner within 30 days.
When issuing qualifications and statements of attainment, within the scope of registration, Child Care Services Training will include:Appropriate National Codes

Registered Training Organisation Logo
Registered Training Organisation national provider number
Authorised signature
Qualification title
Parchment number
Date issued
All qualifications, Record of Results and Statements of Attainment issued under the Registered Training Organisation scope of registration will clearly be separated from other non-registered Child Care Services Training activities and certificates issued.
To request a replacement Parchment, Record of Results or Statement of Attainment you will need to contact Child Care Services Training and fill out the required form.
Cost of replacement Parchment – $20.00.
